HVAC Mechanic

Apply your strong knowledge or a willingness to expand your horizons, in this opportunity to service and repair all types of Commercial / Industrial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems, this includes performing predictive preventive maintenance, troubleshooting related systems and components, installing and servicing gas appliances, and associated piping and controls.

Your Province of Ontario Industrial Refrigeration and Air conditioning Mechanic License should be accompanied with experience in DDC Controls for building automation systems, Chillers, Package Roof Top Systems.

It is essential that you have a G1 Gas Fitters License, a valid ODP Certification, and basic Computer Literacy.

ESC is signatory to UA Local 787, and offers steady year round employment, with excellent training opportunities.

This position is primarily for Service & Maintenance in Simcoe County and the GTA.

 

Cleanroom Construction

Apply your strong knowledge or a willingness to expand your horizons, in General Construction practices and techniques, in a retrofit environment, with demountable partitions and acoustic ceilings, and at a minimum a general understanding of mechanical systems.

It is essential that you have can interpret construction drawings,
have a knowledge of building code compliance issues. You will be required
to manage Subcontractors in a fast paced Clean and Safe environment

This position is primarily for the GTA, however travel around North America may be a requirement.

 

Project Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our company and be a key part of its success and growth. We are looking for someone enthusiastic about making a small company succeed, and with the potential to take on a larger role as the company grows.

To be successful in this position you need to be able to roll up your sleeves and be hands on project manager, plus have the communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with everyone from executives to trade employees.

This position has following responsibilities:

Responsible for completion of a multi project environment in timely and profitable manner while ensuring our prime objectives of quality and safety are maintained.

Projects will range from smaller initiatives ($50,000) spanning a few weeks through to longer-term complex projects which can last months ($5,000,000).

Full oversight and control of construction project team through pre-activity planning to developing & maintaining construction schedules

Write and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, submittals, RFI's and change order requests;

Prepare meeting minutes and keep document & issue logs; prepare written status reports.

Manage the efforts of team members and third party vendors and sub trades.

Responsible for organization, accuracy & completeness of all project documentation.

Assist team to implement project management and document control software; including compiling procedures and standardized templates; and coaching other project participants.

Review coding of invoices, review of cost vs. budget, change orders and other project administration activities.

Full responsibility for close-out of project.

Projects are predominately in the GTA, however travel and Overtime Hours may be required, dependant on the Project and Schedule.
